Jigsaw Manager

Fiona Chapman
I started working at Jigsaw in January 2012.  I trained at Goldsmith’s College, University of London and taught for a long while in South East London. I have an MA in Education Studies from Kingston University.

I have been a Primary School teacher for over 25 years, teaching a variety of age groups, although mainly working with 4 to 7 year olds. My last post was Assistant Head Teacher at Fern Hill Primary, Kingston where my particular responsibility was for the Foundation Stage (Nursery and Reception) and Key Stage One (Years One and Two). I spent my final year working in the Nursery at the school, which was a wonderful experience.

You may also know me from church, Messy Church or Esher Church School.

Deputy Manager

Mel DawesMel Dawes
I have been part of Jigsaw for some time now as for several years I chaired the Jigsaw Management Group. In this role I helped develop many of the policies that are in place and I gained a good understanding of the way in which Jigsaw is run. I am currently completing training in early years education.

Prior to taking on this role, I worked as a physiotherapist and bring with me experience developing a safe workplace, a knowledge of physical wellbeing and of working as part of a hospital team, developing staff.
