40 days Title

A whole-church programme of worship, teaching and small group discussions to explore community together
- everyone is welcome

Why 40 Days of Community?
40 Days of Community is a whole-church programme to help us all explore what it means to be a Loving Community - part of our vision as a church for 2017.

How does it work?
The programme is based around six weekly meetings where we will come together for worship, teaching, and small group discussion. Existing Small Groups will attend together, and new discussion groups will be formed for those not currently members of a Small Group. You can choose to attend on a Wednesday evening at 8pm or a Thursday morning at 10am (crèche available).

In addition, teaching at church on two Sundays will link specifically with this programme: 1 Oct (Opening Sunday) and 19 Nov (Celebration Sunday).

WHAT TOPICS WILL BE COVERED?

The six midweek sessions will cover the following:

  • 4/5 Oct: What matters most
  • 11/12 Oct: Reaching out together
  • 18/19 Oct: Belonging together
  • 1/2 Nov: Growing together
  • 8/9 Nov: Serving together
  • 15/16 Nov: Worshipping together

How can I get involved?
If you are a member of an existing Small Group, your group can choose between Wednesday evenings or Thursday mornings - and your group leader will be asked to let us know when your group plans to attend. If you are not yet part of a Small Group, simply sign the list in the foyer and we will allocate you to a group for the duration of the programme.
