Ukraine Trip 2007

Saturday morning

Everone safely got to Budapest.
Lovely meal on Friday night - good to see so many old friends and meet some new ones.  The restaurant we go to is in a courtyard and has some traditional hungarian dancing and music.  At one point they pull up some 'volenteers' to dance with them.  We managed to get a great video of Andrew Tarcy really getting in touch with his hungarian heritage.  I will try and post it to the web site when I get back!
This morning started with breakfast and then a meeting for all where we thanked God for bringing us this far and calling us.  We read together the great commision Matt 28:16-20. And then got on 2 couches and 2 cars to start the journey proper.  1 couch is Hungarian and 1 is Ukraine.  The mechanics of the Ukrainian especially need your prayer.  I am sure that it was a very nice couch in the 60s so please remember us today.
I am writting this from that couch, its warm but not too warm. Next stop Tesco to pick up water and last minute previsions.
Thanks for your support and prayers

I am watching these blogs daily as I have a friend who is with you on your journey! Take care all of you, I will be thinking and praying and rejoicing (boring old word) celebrating your achievements through this trip and what can be done by God through people who care.

Thank you

'I lift my eyes to the hills - where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth' (Psalm 121:1-2)

God bless
