Heavenly Heroes Holiday Club – help needed The Holiday Club depends on the help of the church family – there are all sorts of ways to get involved! Please sign up in the foyer and let Jill Griffiths know how you could help. Thank you. Items needed: shoe boxes, tea boxes, cereal boxes (normal size and variety pack size) - please bring to the church office. If you could offer laboratory equipment, i.e test tubes bottles, glasses and bottle clamps, or anything futuristic looking eg. lava lamps and Galileo thermometers (long glass barometers with floats), please contact Andy Clifton on 07850 714487.
‘Heavenly Heroes' ( years 1 to 6) is full but ‘Little Heroes' (a ged 4 or in Reception) still has places - contact the office).
Lent Courses HTC will be running two courses during Lent this year. Both courses will run concurrently on Wednesdays 22 February, 7 & 21 March and 4 April at 8pm at HTC. Everyone is welcome – please sign up on the lists in the foyer. God at work: This course aims to provide a Christian perspective on how to deal with challenges and difficulties in our work, whether our workplace is an office, our home or elsewhere. Patterns of prayer: This course aims to help us go deeper in our faith and renew our passion for spending more time with God, by finding our own personal pattern of regular prayer.
India mission blog 10 – 19 February The HTC mission trip to the Rhema Garden in India will be taking place from 10 to 19 February. The group will be writing a blog to keep us up to date with the progress of the mission, and to share prayer requests. The blog will be accessible via the HTC website www.holytrinityclaygate.org.uk
Mattresses needed. HTC Youth are still in need of mattresses for the Youth Alpha Launch Party on 9 February. If you have a spare / old mattress please contact Ellie Curtis to arrange a time to drop it off at Emmanuel Hall.
New Wine 2012 A group from HTC will be going to New Wine (21 - 27 July) – a great time for families and individuals to worship, receive Biblical teaching, and enjoy fun and fellowship! Connections for Seniors wiill not be taking place over half term due to the Heavenly Heroes holiday club. Next Connections is on Tues 21 Feb.
Together in Prayer This month’s Together in Prayer takes place Monday 6 February, at 8pm in church. Do join us as we come together to pray in creative ways for our world, community and church. This month our special focus is Youth Alpha. All welcome!
Newcomers’ Tea If you have started coming to HTC in the last 6 months or so, we would love to invite you to a Newcomers Tea, from 4 - 5.30pm in the Vicarage on Sunday 12 February - with a chance to meet some of our staff and church members. All ages welcome – RSVP to Sarah in the office.
Baptism Preparation Our next four week course for parents thinking about infant baptism starts on Tuesday 28 February from 8.15 - 9.45pm at Emmanuel Hall, Common Road. Contact Janet in the office to book a place.
Women’s Breakfast Our first Women’s Breakfast will take place in the church hall on Saturday 3 March from 8 to 9.30am. Heather Coupland will be speaking on ‘Living life in all its fullness’. All women are welcome to come along for coffee, croissants and fellowship.
