HTC Cricket Match – this Sunday! Please do come along to the HTC Cricket Match on The Rec this afternoon and support our teams! 1st Innings will start at 2pm, and 2nd Innings at 4pm. There will also be Kwik Cricket for the children. Tea for everyone will be served at 3pm.

Small Groups central meeting All are welcome to come along to the launch of the new series of Small Groups teaching on Mark's Gospel on Wed 8 September at 8pm .

Toddlers' Praise Term starts on Wed 8 September at 10am at Emmanuel Hall. An extra session has been added at 1pm to accommodate demand (bring a packed lunch from 12.30pm ) – come along to whichever session suits you best. The afternoon session will have the same songs, Bible stories and play opportunities, plus some craft activities.

Alpha Opening Supper: Pick up an invitation to the Alpha Opening Supper on Thursday 23 September – 7.45pm in the foyer – and invite a friend or neighbour to come along.

Help needed! Our Meals Ministry has been so well received that we need to recruit more people who are willing to cook an occasional meal for someone who is recently out of hospital / has had a baby. Contact Marion Thorley on 468370 for more details.
Serve God whilst having fun and making a difference by being part of Messy Church.  There are many roles for people of all ages.  We need help once a month for an hour or two with: welcoming people as they arrive; craft/activity tables (little or no preparation required); serving tea and coffee; in the kitchen – preparation, serving and clearing up; befriending/discipling people; and clearing away. Half Term Mission Trip to India February 2011 From Friday 18 to Monday 28 February 2011 a group from HTC will be going to India on a mission trip to support the work of the Rhema Partnership. The trip will be led by Revd Richard Lloyd (joining the HTC staff team as Associate Vicar in January 2011 and Chairman of the Rhema Partnership), together with Roger and Jill Marsden. Brochures containing more details about the trip are available from the foyer, and application forms from the church office. The deadline for applications is Sunday 19 September. Newcomers’ Tea If you have started coming to HTC in the last 6 months or so, we would love to invite you to a Newcomers Tea, from 4 - 5.30pm in The Vicarage on Sunday 3 October - with the chance to meet some of our church members and hear more about HTC. Bible in a Year Tea Those who have been reading the Bible in a year are invited to Tea at The Vicarage at 4pm on Sunday 12 September to celebrate their success!

Reaching Young People Interested in finding out what makes teenagers tick? Would you like to better know how to pray for our youth ministry or maybe do you feel like God might be calling you to serve young people? Well Reaching Young People is the short course for you! We will be meeting on Saturday 18 September from 10am - 3pm in Lower Church House to learn all about the teenage world and the work we do to reach young people.
