Our vision is:
At Holy Trinity Church in Claygate we think young people are great and we want to invest deeply in them for the long haul. Our ministry is designed to connect teens with God and each other. Whether you are off to university, an older teen or just starting secondary school, you will find a place at Holy Trinity that is made for you. We want everything we do to have relevant teaching, engaging worship, and opportunities for students to connect with one another.
YFO is for students in years 10-13 who want to have a little fun! Meeting at Emmanuel Hall on at Thursday night from 7:30-8:30, YFO is best described as “organized chaos”. This is a chance for you to unwind, hang out with your friends and have a laugh on us. Don’t worry we don’t take ourselves too seriously and YFO only lasts an hour so you will have plenty of time to catch up on faceb… err we mean homework!

YF is also for students in years 10-13 who want to grow deeper in Christ. Our goal is to create environments where students prioritize their relationship with Christ, connect with the broader church, learn to influence their friends, and experience deeper personal ministry. We do this through our 6:30 pm service which is open to all ages and also through our YF small groups which meet after the service at 7:50 at Drew and Emma Waller’s House. Come for the service, come for the small groups or come for both!
Pathfinders is the weekly event for students from year 7 through to year 9. Pathfinders meets at Emmanuel Hall on Sunday Evenings from 6:30-7:30. Each week, students experience a combination of some hangout time, fun, music, games, an interactive talk, and, most importantly, interaction with a small group. Pathfinders is informal so it is a great time to bring a friend and know that you can just be yourself. We don’t take ourselves too seriously, so know that you are in for a fun evening!
YA is an initiative for our whole church designed to provide young people in our community with structured, engaging and adventurous experiences that stretch them beyond the confines of the usual dull routine. YA adventures are held twice a month and are led by members of our church and supported by our Hub leadership team. These adventures are designed to expose kids to new experiences and demonstrate the abundance of life in Christ.
