Every Sunday from 18:30-19:30 our Youth cell groups meet in the Church house to hang out together and speak about the stuff that really matters. It’s a relaxed and personal environment, plus a great time to ask those big questions, learn from each other and share our lives together. For the most part we meet as guys and girls separately, so why not come along and be a part of what’s happening in these group times and figure out what life is really about.
The 14-18 year olds at HTC meets on Sunday evenings from 19:30 – 21:00 (straight after cell groups) in Church House for a chilled but dynamic time together. We hang out together, worship together, laugh together and grow together. The whole vibe is geared towards young people wanting to live life with God, and although we’re always spicing it up with some variety, the core and center of it all is about One Thing… So pull in and join us sometime.
Oh, and ps: Marshmallows baby.
On the first Sunday of each month the Youth members at HTC, The Pathfinders (11-14) and now the Trekkers (9-10) meet and jam together in an environment that is perfect for bringing along a mate or two who don’t usually go to church. There’s PS3’s, Wii, Pool and much more. The whole night is about relaxing and being together in a non threatening environment that still has a spiritual edge.
Trekkers come from 17:30 - 19:00
Pathfinders from 18:30 - 20:00
And YF come from 19:30 - 21:00
The 2008 term card for YF and Eternal can be downloaded here.
Holy Trinity YF has strong links with the ‘Haslemere’ CPAS Camp and takes young people on these house-parties at New Year, Easter and during the summer. To find out more about this camp visit the houseparty website at: www.haslemereventures.co.uk
YF also get to go on an annual weekend away to Dalesdown in Sussex for a whole two nights of fun and faith in the countryside. Last year we painted gnomes and raced along the Zip slide. This year we made Teddy Bears played 4-Square and mastered 6 player Croquet, amongst other things.
Dotted throughout the year we have odd socials, such as our infamous Travel Card Treasure hunt around Zone 1 in London, our Famous Five day out to the beach, a trip to Whipsnade Zoo and picnics up Winny Hill with the horses.
For more details about Young People’s activities contact Andrew Cowie.
Hub2 is the sequel to the successful Hub venture. Just like the first time around, we’re focused on bringing in a group of 25 kids to run a youth Alpha with. Unfortunately the spaces are full, but keep an eye out for Hub3!
Each week we share a meal together, hear a message and worship as a large group, then break into smaller groups to digest and discuss the evening’s topic. Finally we close the night off with some Big screen games and possible even some Karaoke if we’re lucky.
Falcon Camp is about giving kids a fantastic holiday at a cheap price where they get the opportunity to know God personally!
This year we will be again running two camps that take place during October half term for young people aged 13 - 19.
It's all about action - we will be raft building and racing, abseiling and climbing, archery, team building, swimming, high ropes (and I mean high!) - but the most important action of all - discovering the love God has for us all.
You can find out more by clicking here: Falcon Camps.
If you know a young person who would benefit from this camp - please let Matt know.
