Jigsaw take the safety and security of our young children very seriously, we know that parents need to feel confident that their children are well looked after and very safe. We provide a supportive learning environment where the children can grow and develop with safe and clear boundaries.
We believe children need to play outside as much as possible as research shows that children who play outside in challenging weather are more positive, more creative, and more adaptable. We have extensive outside space including our walled garden with a willow tunnel, mud kitchen, vegetable patches, tree swings plus lots of ride ons! There is a sand tray and water tray and a sensory fence.
Forest school sessions give the children the opportunity to be outside, in a small group, and experience fun and interesting activities. A Forest School is an area of woodland which acts as an outdoor classroom, where children can explore, investigate and discover the natural environment.
As well as all the usual Preschool activities we offer two additional clubs during our preschool hours. They are Teddy Tennis and Surrey Football Coaching.
We provide a safe and stimulating learning environment which nurtures children in our care, enabling their physical, emotional and spiritual development, and prepares them for the transition to school.
Forest School will be back in the Spring term! Gerry is now fully qualified and very excited to take the children out. We have split the children into two groups, so 12 will go out the first five weeks of the Spring Term and 12 in the second five weeks of the Spring term.
We have done this on a first come first serve basis (and those going to school in September 2017).
